Can't unlock Carmelo Anthony jumpshot

I spent a skill point on my The ONE player to unlock the Carmelo Anthony jumpshot animation, and it still says its locked.  I can see that it's there, yet restarting my system (PS4 pro) and simply restarting the game both don't work.  Any help?
