Nba live 19 companion face scan doesn't work period.

The NBA live 19 companion app face scan doesn't work at all. I downloaded the app scanned my face and it never rendered or shows a preview or anything. I tried restarting the app, I restarted my phone, I made sure I had the latest version of the app. Nothing works. I've scanned my face at least 15 times in good lighting and always complete the scan but then the app just freezes and never renders or anything just says at the top of the screen " scan complete!" I've tried waiting and nothing. I'm using a Android phone. Help me.
