Instead, I recommend dunking! To dunk, follow these steps:

1. Use a player with dunk packages enabled, like a known player that can dunk (Lebron, Anthony Edwards)
2. Hold the movement stick toward the hoop. You must be sprinting
3. Press the SHOOT button when you are close to the basket (like in the paint)
4. Depending on whether you have a lane open, or are contested, the dunk may not work
5. Depending on the player’s attributes and also the circumstances of distances and attributes, the game may decide to play a layup animation instead of a Dunk. So there is a combination of luck and skill to pull off a dunk.
