Asus ZenPadZ 10. 3GB ram. Latest Android OS. 4GHz 72Mbps or 5GHz 200-500+ Mbps 40+ ms ping Wi-Fi.
I am at a 10% success rate. Always disconnected. Never reconnected once.
The first week I was stuck in the loading screen waiting for my opponent to load most of the time. I noticed that the loading screen is offset. I can't see the last digits of the card ranking on the far right or the full loading percentage. This makes me think right away that Arena mode is not optimized for my device.
This is my main issue other than those already mentioned. I have tried everything. Rebooting my Wi-Fi. Rebooting my device. Reinstalling the game. Clearing data. Boosting apps. Disabling apps. Disconnecting other household devices.
Questions... What is effecting the game? Is Arena mode separate from the main game? Does all the game information effect the connection? Do Auction house bids and listings and messages effect it? Do all of the cards with flashing icons and scrolling names and countdown timers etc. effect the game? I have noticed in Showdown mode that I receive in game notifications for daily/flash objectives. I also get a sound notification from auction house messages during gameplay. It seems that this would interrupt gameplay. All of this information shouldn't be coming in while we are in the middle of a game dependent on optimal connections.
Do game preferences effect the game? I have turned of notifications, music, slow motion etc. Do differing game settings from the players effect the game? Example... Two different camera angles?
Improvements. Manual defensive switching is a must. Not having it really takes away from the game. We can't help on defence. We can't trap and double team. We can't fill passing lanes. We can't crash the boards. We can't switch on an opponents fast break. We can't defend against a player running out the clock. These are all necessary parts of a good basketball game.
Not being able to see an opponents special ability zone is not preferable. It is near impossible to defend now. The shot is already made 99% of the time. Give the defence a chance. At least let us see that the ability meter is full or dial down the success rate.
I have attached some screenshots. The off center loading screen and my baseline camera angle. My view is too zoomed in from what I have seen of other players views. I can't see the full court or my players with the ball near the sidelines.
I am at a loss about my ability to stay connected. Please help. I really want to enjoy Arena mode. Looking forward to your assistance.
