Have you both reached out to Apple Support to see if they're able to address this from their side? If you were charged but the purchase history shows it failed, they should be able to refund that as the purchase goes through the payment methods you have linked to your Apple account.

I contacted apple support and they said to contact you guys and see if I can still get the live pass.

@frlm70xd3ly2 Thank you for contacting them. We'll make sure you receive the Live Pass if you were charged for it. Please have a proof of purchase ready from your Apple account. Contact an EA Advisor at our Help site by selecting "Contact Us" at the top to file a case.
