Sometimes the matchmakinng of this game mode is ridiculous. I dont understand why (this was before) often my 77 rated team would pair up against people with 88 rated teams. This doesnt happen once either, it seemed to constantly occur for me. Now that i have a better team (87 rated), i just keep getting paired up against people with 90 rated teams or higher. I want to know the match making is based on what, because the level difference can be really ridiculous and with something like 10% or even 5% disadvantage is really not fair for the whole entire community.

The showdown matchmaking is broken and is indeed ridiculous. Twice I was matched with a 100-104 ovr and lost by about 10+ points. VERY CRAZY. To think that lower overalls have a high chance of being matched with a higher overall is so ridiculous and DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Many times I uninstalled the game because of it, and sometimes it makes the game unexciting anymore. Seriously, what's the point of this??!!!!

@EA_Blueberry Yes and I've noticed that lower ovr players get like a disadvantage. For example, a 103 ovr against a 104 ovr...that would mean a disadvantage for the 103 ovr player of 4%, which is already a big difference in terms of overall skill, based on my experience playing the game. @jvincent1020 A higher overall player doesn't always translate to a more skilled player on the courts. There are a variety of factors that go into matchmaking and the system will do it's best to match you with someone of equal overall/skill, do you think this happens way too often?

Not to mention that it is unlikely that you may score any 3pointers for some reason, which makes things even harder
