I want to play by manual defence mode in pvp . Somehow, we can't play manual defence mode in pvp.

Need to be able to switch guys on defense at will, and there seems to be a delay with the responsiveness of the controls, gameplay should be the same as it is in Showdown mode only against an actual player
The new beta PvP doesn’t allow you to switch players on defence. Otherwise, awesome!
