Yes. I play most every day, but don't use Total Controls. I took a quick look at controls for it and saw it worked for defense, but now see it's not available for offense. So, my bad on that. I'll pass on the feedback. Thanks.
Speaking of those controls and the comment you made about making the game more arcade -

nahhh bro, EA's goals is to make their game as arcadic as possible to help 14 years old kids with 95 speed that use the boost all game and never get fatigue. Nhl players dont know how to dump when theyre in their zone on the PK, they need to do slapshots everytime!
I just mention this because you don't seem to like the arcade elements of the game so switching to Skill Stick might work out better. As far as not losing energy with 95 speed goes, if you can get some video of it, I'll pass it on to the team.
Making it harder to dump the puck was done so that it wasn't so easy to kill full pressure. This is being looked in to though so it's very possible this could change.
i play defense 6v6 and ive done a michigan behind my own net 2 times holding triangle. I play this game since nhl09 at a good level. I also cant do slapshots most of the time in my own zone, it does a wrist shot now if you dont crank RS down for 2 seconds..dumping is irrevelant, every club plays trap now as dumping has been taken off. Why make it harder to dump even with pressure mode? dumping a puck is the easiest thing to do for pro players even when exhausted.. damn
Forwards speed is way too high, everybody skates with the boost on all game in straight lines right into you, if we miss the poke we give a breakaway. 6v6 really looks like threes speed pace of play
You cant protect the puck with X anymore, you cant see players colors over their heads now, most of the time we have no idea where the puck is in front of the net with 3-4 players.
You cant hold L2 and RS up to do a one timer anymore, you'll get a penalty in front for the smallest of pushes! we should be able to push 5'7 players in front of our own nets when using 6'3 builds or what ever, small players just stand right in front and deflect pucks easy
I play total control just to do easy hipchecks, its the only reason i dont play skills stick anymore. Why not be able to customize our controls like some shooters game? Let us go back to what we've been playing the last 15 years
This is the worst nhl ive seen in all honesty.

Can you get me some video showing forwards are not losing energy?
Removing protect puck from X/A is a response to receiving a very high amount of complaints from the community about using it to exploit backskating.
As mentioned in the patch notes, we're looking to resolve the issue of holding L2/LT causing penalties in front of the net.
Yeah, I get the use of Total Control for hipchecks. It's a more arcadey feature and you seemed to not be so interested in that so I wanted to mention it. All good.
