Yes. I play most every day, but don't use Total Controls. I took a quick look at controls for it and saw it worked for defense, but now see it's not available for offense. So, my bad on that. I'll pass on the feedback. Thanks.
Speaking of those controls and the comment you made about making the game more arcade -

nahhh bro, EA's goals is to make their game as arcadic as possible to help 14 years old kids with 95 speed that use the boost all game and never get fatigue. Nhl players dont know how to dump when theyre in their zone on the PK, they need to do slapshots everytime!
I just mention this because you don't seem to like the arcade elements of the game so switching to Skill Stick might work out better. As far as not losing energy with 95 speed goes, if you can get some video of it, I'll pass it on to the team.
Making it harder to dump the puck was done so that it wasn't so easy to kill full pressure. This is being looked in to though so it's very possible this could change.
L2/LT is still broken when trying to one time or deflect. Still taking unnecessary interference penalties. Sigh...
Release the most broken and unfinished chel since NHL15... say you fixed something in the patch and not actually fix it. Great Job!!! What a competent group!
- BabyPuncher5253 years agoRising Vanguard@BassMan_PC We could see that change in the early November patch. They state in the notes released yesterday that the only gameplay element that was changed was stick lifting. No other major changes till early November patch and no hip check balance till the patch following the early November patch at earliest. Going to be a bit of a wait until I reinstall.

Alright, It looks like I misread when it was actually coming due to being so frustrated and desperate for fixes. Honestly, I am not going to apologize. EA is the one who should be apologizing to the community for releasing such a broken trash game. NHL games always have issues, but this year is on another level.
- Terrible and broken UI
- Bad presentation changes
- Added micro-transactions
- Broken club uniforms
- Broken matchmaking
- Interference penalties
- Control scheme nightmare
- Worse hitting
- Worse puck protect
- Hip checks and Lacrosse abuse. One button for one of the highest skill moves in hockey? Really?!
- Broken sticks and broken glass interrupting play.
- Bad pressure/fatigue system
- Terrible dumping/clearing mechanic
- Annoying pressure overlay that you can't turn off
- Annoying vision passing icons that you can't turn off
- Bad player indicators that are easy to lose track of your player (especially when coming out of a scrum)
- Still has graphics artifacts flashing in drop-in after 3 years!
etc...
The game is a total disaster and a disgrace. It is worse than BF 2042 at launch! YIKES!
If EA actually cared, they would never release the game in this state. Either delay it or cancel it and come back with a better effort for NHL 25. This current broken mess is unacceptable.

Crazy to think they make record profits developing games in this manner over the hay days of nhl before micro transactions and hut took off with card packs, sad that what used to be some of the most creative and passionate projects have just turned into an annual online store for whatever game it is. They don't even need the annual game sale to be even remotely profitable anymore but you better damn well believe they'll take your money anyway and deliver a less finished product each year. I miss going on the old eashl forums back in the day because I wanted to learn more about the game and all the different build ideas people had. Now we just come on these forums to complain about all the broken game mechanics and graphical glitches, what a decline.

They clearly stated this was going to be addressed in the next patch in early November.
I want these things fixed too, but have to fair about it.
- RatedxPGxEnigma3 years agoSeasoned Ace@75fd980e1b183900 Fair about it would mean the bugs wouldnt be in the game at launch, much less a month in. They dont deserve a pass just cause they're actively fixing things unlike last year. Alot of issues were either brought up in the betas or couldve been avoided with better communication
