Would love to hear the community’s thoughts on the skating in NHL 24 vs 23.
Skating and stick handling were far superior in 23. Those were two things they did not need to mess with, but something somewhere was tuned or changed and both feel clumsy and awkward this year. Dekeing on breakaways is causing players to crash into goalies every game.
Here's the thing. I don't mind if they make changes to these mechanics, but at least tell us what you did behind the scenes. There are so many changes to miniscule mechanics that have serious effects and they are not mentioned as being tweaked. Therefore, players like you and me are left wondering "did they change something? Is it really off or different ?"
It is frustrating, to say the least.
