60hz 120 hz

hi! i would like to know if theres a matter if i buy a new monitor the hz? i would like to buy the best monitor possible to have the less input lag possible?!

    @kKOV27 I mean what console you gaming on? Do you play other games besides NHL? What is your price range?

    I have a fancy 4k 144hz 43in monitor that I use for gaming. Sadly though NHL doesn't have a 120fps mode but it's something that I personally have been asking for. It's one of those gamechanger type features that smooths out the game and gives better response. Not even asking for a 4k/120 mode. Would love a 2k/120 mode.

    But if you got a next-gen console and plan on getting future ones then look into monitors with HDMI 2.1 at least and at least 120hz+ for future proofing your console experience.

    im on ps5 and i got a 60hz monitor... so you saying even if the game is 60fps and i bought my self a 120-240hz monitor, i can see a difference anyway? it will be more fluid?

    @kKOV27Look for a monitor with FreeSync since PS5 and Xbox use that from their AMD built tech.  Also variable refresh rate is nice to have.

    @Willygeez What is your price range, live in US or Can, console used, and what you are aiming for. Some are content with non 4k graphics if performance matters most.
