EA! How’s it going ? Why can’t we add the previous winter classic’s and or the stadium series!? We added women’s hockey! So we can’t add the winter classic through a patch?? It’s sad. I get CHEL IS GREAT, but that can’t be everything. The sad part is, is the last great games of the NHL series is, NHL 12, NHL 13 NHL 14 all three had the winter classic! And yet for NHL 25 it seems like nobody cares. It’s a shame.

That sounds great, but there’s one problem with that.
Problem is, we’ve already been waiting on this someday, since NHL 17 from what I understand, and yet still no winter classic At some point when does “someday” really happen? Problem is with someday, someday you’re die hard fans will eventually walk, having faith on someday, may start to fade. Problem is with someday, is eventually people will start to get ask questions, if it’s even worth investing into the game every year, while you may attract new fans, and that’s great,. However there’s a good solid 60-80% of us wants change. Winter classic added etc. we’ve been asking Since NHL 17 . You would think with the new frostbite engine, on NHL 22, there would have been change significantly, specifically game modes but no, there wasn’t . I can’t speak for everyone,’but what I can say is that I think the majority would agree on a number of things. So yes while someday the winter classic might happen in your video, game just remember that someday you might also start to loose you're fans.
Community ManagerThe thing with the Winter Classic is that it's a lot of licensing and a huge amount of work to accurately model the arena for what is essentially a one and done playthrough for most everyone. I would be surprised to find out that that there were people that played this over and over again when we had it. It's a huge expense and a ton of resources and time. So, we can choose to work on a feature like that or make a much better use of those resources and that time to add features and make improvements that benefit the community as a whole and applies to a much bigger part of the game.
It would be awesome to have this. Don't get me wrong. It's just a huge amount of work for something that doesn't get used much so it makes more sense to work on more highly requested changes or things that apply to the whole game instead of just one small part of it.
I played this arena, over, and over. when it was available in the previous NHL game. The fact it's not on 24 is a huge let down. There are TONS of forums asking for it. make the arena!
