Allow Us to Change Strategies in Franchise without Firing Coaches

They have been garbage ever implemented.

They don’t adapt.

Their preferences are buggy and can never find certain ones (couple that with CPU generated prospects that don’t ever spawn with certain preferences and that just makes things even worse) 

Gotta pay goalie coaches a head coach wage just to sign on. 

assistant/associate coaches don’t feel like they do anything. 

We can’t edit coaches. Can’t create coaches. Not enough/not enough variety in coaches. 

just rework it, and hopefully make it work properly.

let us edit strategies. The BS answer of “we removed edit strategies because that’s the coaches job” doesn’t hold up AT ALL, it’s just a lie. Because we set prices. We set lines. We do plenty of things that aren’t the job of a GM.

It’s FRANCHISE mode, not Be a GM mode now. Let us CONTROL THE FRANCHISE, top to bottom. 

It’s been one of the biggest gripes since it happened in NHL23, why hasn’t EA made it to where you can turn off the lock that you’ve put on for changing the coaches strategies?? We can literally turn off everything but this? Why is this still a thing? I can update the bathrooms in the arena but not make it where I’d prefer the style I want to play 😑

At the very least, allow us to search for coaches like we do players. Filter out the ones that won't fit the team we want to build.

I think, like with all the efiting in Franchise Mode, it should be up to us to decide.

I personally don't think I would use it, because I like the challenge and difference between play styles. Like... don't hire Torts if you don't like what he brings (yes, I know real coaches aren't there, but just as an example). Anyway, I do understand that many want to be able to make their own changes.

And at any rate, players need to be able to adapt and even learn to appreciate a coach's style, even if it takes time (and some might never fully do it).

Just coming back to bump this up as one of the major reasons of why I’m done playing 24. Part is the gameplay but this is one of the things that takes the cake
