Alumnis to a classic mod

I have a dream: alumni teams working as a classic mod.

You start in the Original Six era playing one season of the early sixties (for example) with real players.

Then you could play a 12 teams season of the late sixties, after that a 14 team season of early seventies, when Buffalo and Vancouver were added.

Then seasons with 16 teams, 18 teams, 21 teams, 22 teams, 24 teams and so on until you reach the modern time.

I know this is one request again that may never be reality, but it's not impossible to execute...
