BAP. Tethering settings not saving. Xbox

EA… Why do I have to continue to pause the game then go to “controller settings” and adjust the tethering to manual along with the hug the post? WHY under BAP settings there is no box for “controller...

        Thank you. If you change those settings and then immediately save and quit, are they still unsaved?
