be a pro glitch when coach talks
The coach freezes always after giving me the "Yoink!" ability. It occurs 100% of the time, and I haven't found a way to solve it. Thought I'd ask the community.

Community ManagerThank you. I'll pass on these details. I really don't know if this is something we'll be able to fix in your current save. It's possible you may need to start over. Something you can try is deleting the personal saved data, but this also runs the risk of completely deleting your offline saves. If you want to give this a shot, follow these steps:
- Press the Guide button and then highlight the NHL 24 tile
- Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it
- Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it
I'm not optimistic this is going to fix it for you as normally with BaP and Franchise Mode, when there's an issue that causes a crash, a new career needs to be started.
this needs to be fixed. If it helps at all my be a pro is a power forward build and it’s part of “the story continues” a few years into your career. It’s when you talk to the coach after he rewards you with the Yoink! ability. On PS4 with no disc, bought from psn
- @Murdelic My main theory is for some reason the game is triggering giving my player the yoink ability, but my player type doesn’t allow for that ability so it doesn’t know what to do after pressing “storyline” in the conversation menu
Does anyone know which build type allows for the Yoink ability? I'm one of those folks that push for Platinum trophy (PSN) every year and this essentially blocks our ability to get through the Be A Pro Career Mode.
Have spent so much time on two attempts now and arrived at the same choke point since Coach cannot give me Yoink X-factor.Can this please be patched soon, since we have already invested so much time in the Be A Pro Career?
If it helps the EA QA team at all, my build is a Two-Way Forward (the default build).
Heard there was a similar game crashing snag within Franchise Mode. Request that if this Yoink blocker with Be A Pro is being resolved, please validate that the Franchise Mode trophies are also accessible and not blocked by a glitch..
