Glass hasn't been broken from a shot in an NHL game since 2018.

That's something like 9,000+ games without broken glass from a shot.

@Radolfo_hillter Unfortunately it happens every other game or so. Just a random stoppage for absolutely no reason except for EA to pat themselves on the back and suggesting they added something.. personally I have no issue with it being in the game but just don't stop play.. then have the glass fixed for the next faceoff.. maybe show a replay of the hit/ shot then someone replacing the glass similar to how they show a player on the bench after getting hurt.. ANY stoppage in play for no reason just makes EASHL worse. Unavoidable fights are another issue. I'd also throw broken sticks into it, while it doesn't stop play its just RNG thrown in for no reason. They want people to stop crying about ice tilt but then purposefully add RNG mechanics and have audio TALKING about tilt.. wild..

  There are specific rules for breaking sticks. It's not totally RNG. I'm working on getting those clarified and will update when I have some details.

  Current Stick Breaking Rules:
  
  No Stick Breaks in Small Rinks / Ones / ProAM
  
  Sticks CAN break in these situations:
  
  -- Very Small Chance to break when receiving a Slash to the stick -- Very Small Chance to break if stick collides with the puck from a Slapshot over 55 MPH -- Very Small Chance to break on any One Timer Slap Shot or any regular Slap Shot -- The chance of a stick break greatly increases if team is considered 'time wasting'
  
  Stick cannot break on a wrist shot
  
  No more than 3 Stick Breaks in a Period
  
  No more than 1 Stick Break at a Time
