Button r2 on my ps4 doesn't work

The button R2 on my ps4 remote doesn't work. I can pass with my player who have the puck for an other player on nhl 24.

@EA_Aljo Normally r2 button should work all the time because I use the control setting total control on my ps4 and ea sport nhl have a copyright on that. Nobody should delete a button like that.

    The R2 button has not been deleted. I'm not seeing other reports that it doesn't work.. Which is why I asked if that button works in other games. 

    Also, make sure your controller's firmware is up to date. Instructions for that can be found here.
