This was fun. And a good way to identify people you have played with for a while. Why are we removing personality from the game?

It's not "we", it's "they", and it's because they can. Meaning, just like the rest of the current disastrous changes, in NHL '24, it's a sign of the times: none of it makes any sense. But because they can, despite it not being necessary, they're taking advantage of the ability and not the practicality.
