Constant color flashes

Have we ever been given a reason for the constant flashes of color or random polygons that show up when playing? What is this? Why is it happening? Why is this the ONLY game I see this in and its been in the game for years? I finally got a friend to play and this was his first complaint and he wanted to quit after seeing it because it was hurting his eyes and the game seemed "unfinished." Is this something we can see being fixed in the next 10 years? Do the devs know about this? Have they played this game at all? Do they know what it is, or what's causing it? It just seems like it should be a rather simple fix that shouldn't take so many years..

We often hear how this game can't be as good as a game like Red Dead redemption because of its sales or how long theyve had to work on it without a release every year.. but.. how many copies has this sold since 2012 when this game was remade on a new system? Game sales plus hut packs for the last 11 years aren't enough money to make a quality game yet? And not enough time due to yearly releases? Even if you ONLY worked on this game for 6 months out of each year.. that's still 6 years to FINISH developing a quality game.. one that was already a finished game right, *wink* yet, everything seems worse. Lobbies are no argument worse since i've started playing NHL between getting kicked, wait times, people not making it, people now unable to join after it locks into a match, etc. Menu navigation and responsiveness are no argument worse, longest wait times i've experienced in any PS5 game to date. Glitches and problems in offline modes far worse. Gameplay arguably worse, with some improvements and some steps back. Nobody I know wants to play this anymore.. I'm just at a loss for words.. I know people will jump in to defend this game but it has gotten worse.. even little things that almost don't matter at all to me like uniforms in threes mode in WoC. It's such a tiny change.. but why not let them wear them? They play in their arena.. it often glitches to show them IN their club uniform before going into the threes honey comb lobby.. and then they wear their outdoor clothes.. not something gamebreaking for me at all.. but it's just a small change that was a small step backward for no apparent reason..
