Do I need game pass?

Do I need Xbox Game Pass subscription to play World of Chel alone? I don't play against other people online so I'm hoping I can play with just an internet connection. I have the same question for Dia...

    You will need to renew Game Pass to keep playing then.

I got it off my game pass which  is game pass ultimate
