This is really beyond belief. I don't understand how it can't be fixed already, that what is true with ALL the original players suddenly stop because players are generated. Is it really that hard to make the game understand that a sniper should have sniper preferences, just because the player is generated?
It's one thing if it was more random from the start, and that it continued. But how the player types have their preferences from the start, and then lose them.
That OFD's have Pinch/Cycle is nothing wrong, but when a DFD pinch all the time, while the non-generated players have Balanced.
Apart from that, I think that some DFD should have Hold Line sometimes as well. I thought that was fixed, but it seems I was dreaming. It might be only enforcers and generated players who can have that preference.
I don't care that much about chemistry when I play, so it is good that it doesn't matter as much as it could, but now I'm doing research on the topic and it is really quite sad to see. I hope we see an improvement in NHL 25.
