That’s called defense…I mean we might as well just strip defenseman of sticks and only give them a 1/4 stamina that forwards have. The pressure system is the dumbest thing to happen to this franchise. There is zero need for artificial difficulty. 24 was supposed to be the game changer since y’all completely ignored 23 and stated all work was going into 24, so what happened?
@BellisJ01 I don't 100% agree that the pressure system is terrible, its a good idea, but the execution is not there at all. If you get pinned in your own zone, there should be consequences, it happens in hockey all the time. My only issue with the pressure system is players lose stamina WAAAY too fast, even when not moving a whole lot.
As for the puck dumping, yeah that really needs to be fixed. Tuning them down because of the pressure system IS really terrible, dumping is part of hockey ESPECIALLY on a penalty kill.

There was no need for these random buffs and nerfs that EA made up, especially when the system is severely flawed and broken in some instances.
- @RSall14 No, if you're pinned in your own zone, the other team should get an advantage, again you see it in hockey all the time. My issue, again is that you lose stamina way too quickly when there's full pressure.
- @RelentlessJ69 You also see in hockey is the ability to flip the puck out ,what you don't see in hockey is a guy skating around ballerina dancing waiting for some stupid pressure meter to fill up so you can rag the puck
- @Treatmentworke66 I agree, and if you wanna show me where I said the pressure meter was executed perfectly and puck dumping was fine, let me know lol. I said it was a good idea, execution not so much. And you should be able to dump the puck further.
@RelentlessJ69lol my answer wasn't on what you said its on what you see in this game ,because as you know Lting can actually be done ,and it can be used effectively because of the pressure meter
- @Treatmentworke66 Can LT'ing be done this year? I haven't seen it in my 60 or so online versus games so far and I've played and beat top 100 people. How is it done now? Puck protect + LT doesn't do it anymore.

It's only available in certain areas of the ice. It's not as effective as it was last year.
However, some players have realized if they initiate LT & Protect Puck on the areas of the ice it's allowed and then manage to maintain possession of the puck while venturing into territories where LTing isn't allowed (mainly the slot and close to the net) - they're allowed to utilize it exactly like in NHL23. Not sure if this is by design or not.

we’d rather have THE PRESSURE SYSTEM, right? looool. If you could play hockey like a normal hockey player the pressure system wouldn’t work… therefore Spaghetti arm cpu players.
