EA is ending a EASHL/CHEL Dynasty...... Why??

Hey Guys,

I do not ever post on forums, but I feel like today is a good day to start.  I must start by saying this post is fully justified and I am hoping this reaches out to those who may be able to reset this.  I have been playing the Chel...... Mode for NHL since 2013.  One day I played a random drop in and it changed my life.  I live in California which was tough at that time to find friends that actually played this..... Game.   In this random drop in which was my first one ever I met a person from New York and Ohio.  This day changed my life.  This was the day I actually bought an EA Hockey game and played more than 5 hour’s worth of the content.  It was easy transitioning from EA in the 90's to the great 2k sports then the dark times appeared from 2011 and 2013 where I was forced to go back to the same thing over and over again.  Let’s get back to the story.  I met these two guys and it is fate.  The first time I play EASHL and meet two guys that have a great team style that works with my style.  We became instant friends.  I have actually invited the person from Ohio, and I met him in person in Vegas and won a real Ice Hockey tournament with him.  We decided to call our first Hockey Club in EASHL the Puckaholic Bundy Force.  

The name is pure and happy and joyful with the addiction of hockey and hard hitting.  We continue this journey every year until that dreaded day which may some call the Crappiest moment of EASHL History.  NHL 2015 for the XBOX 1.....  I don’t know what EA was thinking but they released the game on the Xbox 360 with EASHL but the XBOX 1 had NOTHING!  This day was the beginning of the end of the good times.  Now we purchased the game for both consoles when one was on sale and created the puckaholic bundy force for the 3rd year.  This was the beginning of the death where they got rid of player cards, custom building players with stats, and perks based off earning experience.  This was the year we pretty much lost our Ohio player full time because he said he didn’t want to play an unfinished game.  He only bought the Xbox 1 to play EASHL with the boys.  

So, we speed up the story here since the game gradually got worse after they brought EASHL back with no features.  Now we reach 2016 to 2020 where the game was struggling to keep the flame alive with the puckaholic bundy force as the game gradually gets worse and the glitch goals increase and the crappy AI just cannot play for crap.  This was the era where you can stick handle the computer AI away from you over a few seconds of going left right.  We even had a couple times where a player would sell his game only to buy it back when it was on sale and tried again thinking there were updates to fix it.  The only thing we had to keep us going were the words puckaholic bundy force.  The pure name that kept us remembering our past and the good ol days. 

from 2020-2023 things actually started to look a little better.  We found a few new friends to play with us under the same name puckaholic bundy force and we are just terrible club getting used to each other.  Our new guys are fresh and never played but knew they wanted to hit and try to get better.  It took about 2 years for them to settle in but now we are a team winning close to 50% of our games.  They were able to embrace the puckaholic bundy force ways and dominate the hitting aspect of the game.  Things were starting to look up until about three days ago which was deemed The Great Fart of NHL 2024.

We picked up even more skaters.  Now our team has reached 8 boys for the boys.  The Puckaholic Bundy Force is starting to really gain traction and we are playing more than 3 nights a week which was our previous standard.  We all felt the game got better and at the same time got worse because they made the goalies a little better but now, we instantly get penalties when you hit somebody near the boards.  We would get charging penalties when gliding and boarding penalties hitting people on the shoulder right along the boards.  This made everybody unhappy, but we still had 8 boys under the great name Puckaholic Bundy Force for the 11th year in EA History the same club name.  Wellllllll............

EA must have seen that the Puckaholic Bundy Force was starting to have fun playing the game again and was thinking.... "What can we do to reduce the amount of fun these guys are having.  They are actually playing the game too much."  EA did the unthinkable.  After 11 years.....  of using the same great team’s name Puckaholic Bundy Force......  Banned the team’s name and said it cannot be used anymore....  EA has taken away every shred of fun we had but we kept playing for years and years.  They delivered the blow that I don’t think we will ever recover from.  I know it is just a name for some, but this is a little more.  This represents 11 years of commitment with people we may have met or never met in person.  To call Puckaholic Bundy Force an alcoholic reference is just a rotten * that could be delivered from the mighty fart sniffing type of people.  We were literally playing close to 1000 games a year and now all of a sudden, we are alcoholics????  2 of our players don’t even drink and they never made a comment about any kind of reference to our team name having to do with drinking.....  We, the Puckaholic Bundy Force, would like our team name Ban to be removed and would appreciate it if EA would not step in the middle of our traditions.  It is not like we are the Redskins or the DrugTaking Needle Lovers.  There are some small things in life that make people happy and to you it may mean nothing but for some it means the world to them.  Do not take away what little things we love about this game.  It could tilt enough to never play again.
