Kind of a weak take wouldn't you say? Like you I'm older and have been playing the games since the 90s so certainly have been through the ups and downs of features added to the game but ultimately you know you will be coming back in October for '25.
- Glass breaking is what you want in a hockey simulation and in the hundreds of games I've play I could probably count less than 10 times its happened.
- Player flipping into benches is another rare occurrence unless you just try to skate up the boards and get bodied by a better player. Otherwise, it's very rare as well and I've seen that like 5x.
Both above examples have added to the realism of the game
- Pressure meter I will admit I HATED everything about that in the beginning, but it has been toned down nicely since release and has become an interesting addition to gameplay this year. If it does remain in '25 I agree that they should find a new location for the meter that is not as intrusive.
- Celebrations I agree 100% those should be nowhere near this game aside from like 3s or 1s.
As far as your lax goal conundrum, bro... play some D!
Of all the reasons not to play this game those are the 4 mentioned? 🤔
None of those should be considered deal breakers.

This nhl 24 could be so good game If that unrealistic speedboost hitting is gone. Force passes, shooting everywhere, greasy goals..
I play 1 div but Seriously losing my mind to play in hut againts players whos just shoot, shoot shoot, force force force, skate. They skill level is seriously 2-4division but now they are"good " becouse this gameplay helps and rewards more of that simple low skill hockey. Go and have look what eki, sopuli and others have said that they wish and needs to be in nhl 25. More skill and hockey iq and not this simple gameplay that just skate, shoot, force. Sauser passes was skill gab in the previous years, bring back that or something else. @EA_Aljo

@Jutila22 wrote: I play 1 div but Seriously losing my mind to play in hut againts players whos just shoot, shoot shoot, force force force, skate. This rationale escapes me. "I'm playing in the most competitive division in the most competitive mode and it upsets me that my opponents can just shoot and score"
This idea of "forcing" plays is also absurd. I understand that top-level players have a way of making it seem like they're "forcing" a play on you - but I hate to break the news to you: That's what it feels like to play against people who are very good at this game.
@Jutila22 wrote: this gameplay helps and rewards more of that simple low skill hockey. So everyone leading the leaderboards is "low skill", except for you though, right?

If skating, shooting and 'forcing' seem to be such an easy thing for your opponents to do, then I suggest you take it upon yourself to start skating, shooting and forcing in an effort to remain competitive.
