Eashl 6s hitting penalties
Hitting penalties called charging don't make any sense. Need to be toned down.. how can you put in new dynamic hitting and make every hit a charging penalty

The new mechanic has you dipping your shoulder and then pushing it up into the player. I'd like to see where someone is crouching down and then leaping into the player so I'll eagerly await that video.

Do you see the way he leaps from a standing position to check? I'm not even skating and he travels 5 feet from the momentum alone after every hit from jumping so hard. You bodycheck by tucking your elbow and using your speed to hit the player, you don't jump up elbow-out at the point of contact. Look at how far he throws his elbow out with every animation!
It's just wrong. It's all wrong, this isn't how you bodycheck in hockey. It should be reverted to last year's hitting immediately.
@Fadetoblack021 Totally agree with you . Every single thing is so wrong with this years hitting . This isnt hitting its just some strange body movement that is totally wrong and I think that its strange that EA wants the hitting to be this bad . They had good hitting in nhl23 and now this .Sadly I cant play this game anymore this isnt a hockey game anymore

Most every post of yours is complaining about hitting. I get it. You don't like the new hitting. To say this isn't a hockey game anymore though just doesn't make sense. If all you like to do is hit and now don't enjoy hitting, then you're really just wanting to be a goon. Which isn't the point of hockey. So, when you play the game in that manner, sure, it's not hockey. When you play the game as intended, it very much is though. Is it an absolutely perfect recreation of picking up a stick and hitting the ice? No and that's not what is intended. It's a hockey video game with simulation and arcade elements. As much as you'd like it, it's not a hitting simulator.
- @EA_Aljo No i dont just skate around and hit i like to play good hockey and score goals too but hitting is a part of a hockey game. So you mean that nhl23 , nhl22 nhl21 etc which had good hitting was just ahitting simulator?

Many of us are fine with the hitting. We acknowledge our mistakes, learn and adapt.
For this supposed liaison to suggest that a person who delivers 20 hits and 4 points a game is somehow a goon is disingenuous. His problem is if he admits that the hitting is gawd awful he will get in trouble from the dips at EA who came up with these disgusting hitting mechanics.
player need to learn to defend. If they don’t they lose. Don’t take the ability to defend away from everyone to level the playing field. It’s betrayal of the people who helped build your company
