Ok. i was just in and played one game in drop in and tried a grinder with 99 in bodychecking and even with that player the hitting sucks . I dont think this is a good or fun game and it is not just the hitting that is bad . The whole game feels weird . And the penalties you get even for soft hits is just stupid . But I will leave this forum now there is no point of me writing here anymore

let off LS when using a shove. If you're still holding LS in a direction while the shove animation plays out, you'll move in that direction.

sounds like you just need to practice and get the hang of the hitting rather than just saying it sucks. Most users have adapted and learned the new ways.

All you comment on is hitting. If you'd like to elaborate on what else you're unhappy with, feel free. Although, you're leaving so if you decide to return, keep it in mind.

I wasn't pressing anything other than circle in the clip once I got to a standing position. No stick, no skating, just pressing circle.

I didn't say you were pressing LS in your clip. The shove animation includes feet movement which, when standing still, will move your player a little bit - but not at all the '5 feet' that's been claimed.
My point about LS is using it in a real game situation. If you're noticing that it's jumping you wildly out of position, it's because you're leaning on LS while the animation plays out.
I'm not saying this is 'correct' or 'sim' - I'm stating that's just how it is. Once you understand it, you can learn to get better at controlling it.
A mistimed shove will put you at a disadvantage, so there's an expectation that the user should learn to harness it and use it effectively to be especially dominant. If we were able to simply re-trigger the shove animation as many times as we want without penalty frames, we'd be having a different discussion.

I don't even know what you're talking about, my player was flying down the ice by the end of it all and all I ever did was press circle. I went back and watched and the hit starts at one side of the hashmarks and winds up near the other circle. You're right, it's not 5 feet it's more like 10. All you did was isolate a second long frame and deny anything else happened. Watch the video again, I travelled about 30 feet down the ice with hitting animations alone. For the life of me, I don't understand why you think this is realistic or justifying it. I'm telling you I have 40 years on skates and this is NOT realistic and I don't care how much you try to brainwash me into believing it.
Hello everyone, can someone advise me how to set up or modify the behavior of the AI... In the video you can see, again, the player's senseless decision during my attack. So my advantage is again a disadvantage. Just a completely unnecessary penalty when I'm attacking.

I moved your post to the already existing thread on this issue. We're aware of it and investigating.

I've said this a few times but this is 100% on you and not knowing how to do it. Hitting in this game is pretty easy and most games become a hit fest just like last year.
I did the same thing as last year, loaded up hitting stats, strength, truculence and did a drop and I had 32 hits. It really isn't that difficult. If you cannot hit by this time of th3 games cycle, it is 100% on you. Also, if you think that the past games were hockey because of hitting, you really don't know hockey that well. How many games have 20 absolute destructions of players in a game? Hitting in the past was so mind numbing and easy that any build could hit. This year you have to time it and do it properly and if not, you won't and you'll whiff. Practice and you can get good at it but just sitting back saying it sucks, you want improve.
