EASHL Playoffs - Game result dispute

Question

This message is more for my curiosity. We were just up 6-2 in a game and the other team pauses and quits. Somehow during that sequence my teammate gets kicked to the xbox home page and we receive the loss.

Just wondering if there is the ability to look into this? This is coming off of a failure to retrieve data error as well. Anyone heard of this?

Obviously not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Just a bit frustrating and not good for competitive integrity.

Is there a glitch to cause this?

We're not aware of an in-game way to force disconnects so it's possible this is coincidental. However, we can't really stop someone from IP booting either. Did you check their record to see if they have a lot of DNF wins? Do not post any of their team details publicly. You're welcome to send those to me in a private message.
