What's with the User Input Delay? And, no, it sure is NOT my console or my controller. Please explain.

Community ManagerI said I'm not seeing many reports of this. Not, as you put it, no reports. When there's a widespread issue with input delay, we hear about it. It's expected that there are going to be some with it. Connections can be all over the place. There's a near infinite amount of combinations of equipment, providers, different amounts of bandwidth being used, TV settings, etc. You'll find that with pretty much any online game. So, the likelihood of tracking this down and finding it to be on our end is very low. I'd be happy to go through troubleshooting, but since I couldn't get an answer to my previous question, after asking it multiple times, I don't think we'll get anywhere with that.
@EA_Aljo as I've asked you for years now, what constitutes a "report"??

That thread was also full of multiple posts from the same people. It was 40 pages and not 300. Regardless, we'll continue to monitor for issues. Currently, the amount or reports we're seeing about this is far less than the overall player community. With the amount of variables that I mentioned, it's understandable some are going to experience input lag due to issues beyond our control. Our servers are only one part of what goes in to a good connection.

Here's how it worked last year (and some of the previous year):
1.) I explain the issue clearly. I provide video evidence
2.) I'm asked for more video evidence, or someone else is asked for video evidence after EA ignores my own. I provide more video evidence
3.) I posit theories about de-sync, the cloud, etc. I get the runaround
4.) I finally get the mod to acknowledge there is an issue. But he says that the EA developers can't replicate it......in Vancouver. Case closed!
5.) I laugh maniacally

I don't even play HUT, but my delay would 100% be there too. It's in every mode. Even in offline modes. Without issue in other games.
- @DeliveryForKiki And others see this and lose all incentive to report..... Thus "we're not seeing many reports"
