Franchise Mode Edit Jerseys for All Teams

It would be nice if we could edit all team uniforms in the off season including NHL teams. 

In real life teams update their jersey colors, logos and jersey types. Why can't we do this for NHL teams too in offline modes. 

Would that really be a licensing issue if its offline?
