I want also to mention that there is an issue with scheduling in custom league mode. I created a custom league and play for the Ducks. Same divisions as in current NHL, but different schedule. I set 42 games in division, 24 intraconference and 16 interconference games. So I expected 6 games x 7 opponents in my division, 3 games x 8 opponents in Central, 1 game x 16 eastern teams. I indeed have 6 games against every team in Pacific and 1 game against eastern teams. But it gets a bit tricky against Central. I'm set to play 3 games against Jets, Coyotes, Wild and Blackhawks, but I will play only two games against Avs and Blues and 4 games against Stars and Preds. Why? It shouldn't be this way.
I also don't quite like that I play all six games against Flames by December 19, but don't play a game against Kings until December 10. It could be more balanced I guess.
