Game speed slider broken?

Question

This years game is so fast paced. This would not be a problem if we could adjust the game speed via the slider but I really don't feel much diffrence between the default 3 or 0 speed setting. The game is a little slower but not much. Is this intended and why does the game need to be so fast even at 0 speed setting?

@20Portugal04 Tried playing around with those sliders and they make a way bigger impact on the speed of the game compared to the game speed slider.

The game become way more fun when it slowed down, thanks for the tip!

@MrDT83 HelloI also do not enjoy the game so fast . I always put the game speed at 0, you'll have to go to skating in game sliders and adjust the cpu and human sliders for skating speed, acceleration, and agility for the players on the ice to perform correct. It's some trial and error alot of exhibition games and going back into sliders to perfect it, but once you have it right and many of the other sliders the gameplay is great, hope this helps
