Goalie controls
Where is Paddle Down? R2 (hold) + X in previous years on PS. Meanwhile Desperation Dives is mapped to two buttons. R1 and Square. If this was intentional I’d love to read their reasoning....

@thebrazenhead75 They have seen it and I had written a whole thing on goalie controls and yes even replaced 1 of the 2 desperation saves with something more useful. This was before we got the old goalie controls back too. But you aren't gonna get an answer from them on it. I didn't get a reply back just that thanks for the feedback and it will be passed along.

So they did remedy this but then unremedied it by going back to the old goalie controls? 🤔😏🤣
It’s been like this for months. It should be in their list of top priorities to fix.
- @thebrazenhead75 The remedy was giving us the old controls back. My idea was if they didn't give us the old controls back. They could still refine the new controls in the future but only time will tell.
Giving the old controls was the priority and trust me we gave a huge stink about how awful goalies were without toggles off for things. Many agreed and they gave us toggle off options and the old controls.
Obviously they are trying new things and it's gonna be hit or miss. How badly they miss determines if changes happen imo.

I’ve been able to use it in all the previous years as far as I can remember. So if the game is the old controls back then how was it removed somehow?
I always have all my automatic things off for my G. If I’m not pushing/holding a button I don’t want my goalie to do a thing! That includes stupidity sprawling all over my crease and on my butt after one of my Dman blocks a shot. Not dropping down to butterfly on particular plays. I want full control of my G!

The team removed paddle down because the focus was to polish and implement the new desperation poses and save animations.
