Graphics?
Hello everyone glad to see NHL 24 being discussed. Excitement. Watched the trailer many times on the big screen , went back and played NHL 23 on the ps5 (same tv) and to me it seems the graphics on...

I don’t know if this picture will do it justice, but it looks amazing live 😀 Also it’s pretty bright in my living room right now, so must play in the equation, but look at the lights bouncing off Hughes helmet. The shadows, the darks, the Yellow and Orange being very distinctive. Live, you can see the definition better of the V with the lines on the elbow… I’m pumped 😆 Or I’m sick 🤔
I think that this is starting to look allot like NHL24 😉

I'm gonna change the picture settings once I get the chance , but yes the colors look really beautiful and the lighting looks perfect and the shadows are spot on.

Regarding the sound, I thought the sound from the players and the puck sounded better..
All though that graphic comparison PK did vs 23 and 24 did not show any direct difference.
And Portugal, I hope you try this mans sliders, I heard they are suppose to be something extra!
PK is a connoisseurs when it comes to hockey and sliders. 😇

PK is a connoisseurs when it comes to hockey and sliders. 😇Don’t be jealous buddy, we can share, we can share 😉 That’s what hockey's all about, bringing people from everywhere and with any alliance to teams and whatnot…

Yup, playing with different sliders than in the game, on my TV this time 😉 really brought that game to life on my TV… The difference is night and day for a freak like me 😛

That being said, and I really put the emphasis on this in my (SETUP) thread at OS, that it’s just not sliders. If it was, it would have been too easy. It’s a combination of 3 major parts. SLIDERS/ROSTER/STRATEGIES… Roster being the main ingredient, because of what I went through just for the DMen to make them play like Real Life and to tame that arcade wild beast that’s under the hood 😉😆

So I was able to change the LG settings today and the picture does look way better, I also used the sliders that you have and mixed them with some of mine and it came out great. Thank you again,

Very happy that you are happy my friend 😀 The mixing of sliders is very much discouraged by yours truly tho, lol 😂 One wrong value at the wrong place and the game can go out of whack in a hurry !

Is it from replay you zoom in?
That Seider was cool 👍 That is something the NHL team should add to the game is a Photomode like so many big games have now where you can do so much editing if you want.

Yes, it is from the replay mode. If you focus on one player or something on the ice, when you zoom in, the out of focus stuff becomes more blurry as the distance increases 😀 As a graphics junky, I love this 😀

100 % Agree… The game of hockey and the uniforms are so nice, it needs to be put out there more 😀
Speaking of nice Unis, how can you not like these 2 ? The Nords and the Wings reminds me of older times and they look so clean IMO.
