Hard Passing Automatic Pass Assist

Question

I've had a problem with new hard passing. I couldn't figure out what was going on when I hold down the hard passing to bring up the icons, the puck will automatically pass without me releasing the hard pass button (R2 on PS5). Or, when I use the hard pass to manually pass to someone near the slot, it passes to someone else or behind me. Only thing I can think of, is that if someone skates in proximity when you hard pass and they are open, the puck will automatically go to them. There are no indicators that pop up during clubs of drop-in for me. I'm assuming if someone gets in where the indicators usually pop up is where the puck will go automatically if you release the hard pass button even when aiming manually. It happens to me maybe once every 3 games. Was there already a solution to this? Does anyone know why it does this? I use total control settings on PS5.&nbsp;

@ManicX777 not sure if this helps or if I'm understanding you properly so I'll just say the following (ignore if obvious). If you hold down pass, the icons appear and whatever button that is, is where the pass will go but sometimes depending on distance in relation to the player and if you're facing up properly, it may or may not hit your intended target. Also if you hold down pass and just use your left stick to aim and release the pass button (likely R2 or RT), then it'll go where you aim it.

I'm using the hold R2 button to do a manual pass (not hitting the button icons to pass) just aiming it with the left stick, just sometimes I pass and it doesn't go the direction I'm aiming. Or goes to whoever is skating behind me. Sometimes it will release the pass without me letting go of the R2 button. This is with a Playmaker build in WOC btw. 93 passing skill.&nbsp;

I have a really weird suggestion for you because I've had this happen to me too. Make sure you don't have your phone right next to or in between you and your controller and console. Sometimes it'll mess up the Bluetooth on the controller and really screw up the signals and your controller will do its own inputs and have lag and random things happening like that.If you can, try using a USB direct link to your controller and turn it into wired (on PS4 and PS5 I know you have to go into your settings and select USB over the Bluetooth for controller connection). If the problem persists then you know it isn't your controllers connection being interfered with by your phone or some other Bluetooth connecting device.&nbsp;
