Hitting is more fluid in NHL 25. I think it's going to be more well received than in 24. It's more fluid now. Not all of us just want to skate around hitting everything that moves. Many of us like the skill and finesse that goes in to playing defense rather than gooning it up and just chasing everyone for hits. This isn't Slapshot. We're not puttin' on the foil. I get this isn't for everyone though. Personally, I hate the hip checking from 24. Playing teams that do nothing but hip checking and hitting just aren't fun to play against for those of us that want a more authentic hockey experience. Thankfully, not everyone plays this way and I had some of the most competitive games ever in 24.

In the previous games i sometime i play with a small player and sometimes with a big player with big hits and I have never complained about hitting before nhl 24 . I dont think the previous games were to brutal you just had to learn how to avoid being hit . Yes I also hate the hip checking in nhl 24 but I just dont think any hit is really powerful like it was before the hitting movement of the players are wrong

Hitting is not back to pre-NHL 24. It feels better in 25 though.
- recipe871 year agoNew Ace@EA_Aljo Ok but if you hire a civil engineer or some smart people they could fix this fame and hitting problem . Speed and the weight of the player is not so hard to program to a game but for some reason you are not intressed i that anymore . If a heavy player goes full speed against a smaller player it should be devastating but you have removed that from the game . Its just normal physics
