How do I know the “latest” patch has been downloaded?
I know it’s a dumb question to ask, but every time I downloaded the patch, My Xbox would say “there was a sign in change” and the game would re-boot and when the game came back on, I would have the same message on the bottom left side of the screen that there was an update.. I would click on it again and again, the game would stop and say “there was a sign in change” and reboot. This process happened no less than 6 times. Eventually the cycle stopped but don’t know for sure if it downloaded.
Common sense would say if its no longer there, then its been downloaded.. BUT.. common sense also witnessed. That when I play BAP goalie, the controller settings have not saved and before every game, I still have to go to controller settings and disable the tether option. I thought this was fixed in the patch.
Also, when I go to the game sliders and I see under what version I want, the only option that appears to me is “latest” I cant choose any other one because if I move the pad to the left or right, the letters disappear and its blank for two pushes on the controller and the third option would show “latest” again. But does not show me what the other options are.
I looked on the home page and cant find anywhere showing me what version of the game I have or does it say if any and all patches have been downloaded.
So how do I know if I’m playing with the latest patch?
Plus… just as a side note.. two things that I find odd. 1. I dont think the “surround” feature works. I have a sound bar with Dolby DTS and surround selected for Audio mix type and it sounds like I’m listening to the game thru one speaker. NO surround sound at all. And #2. The crowd chants for the Visiting team. I thought this was a narrow glitch. I was playing with the Florida Panthers and on Road games I would hear the crowd chant “let’s go Panthers!!” On home games it would chant “Let’s go (visiting team)” I thought okay, maybe its a one time thing, then I started a new career with Dallas and again, Vegas was playing in Dallas and the crowd was chanting for the Knights.
Hi there, @Javiair
You can check the patch version by hitting the Guide button on your controller and selecting the NHL 24 tile. Then, hit the Menu button. This is the small button to the lower right of the Guide button with the 3 horizontal lines on it. Next, go to Manage game & add-ons. On the right side of the next screen, you'll see the version number. It should say 1.2.1.0.
