I hate the AI
I'm trying my hardest not to get mad here but it really seems like the AI deliberately tries to screw you over in a lot of cases. @EA_Aljo , can you or anyone else please explain what's going on here?
0:00-0:23 - First off, how the heck were they able to max out their pressure bar that fast off a fumbled breakaway that was poked? We had possession for so long there and continued to be in a state of fatigue. Defensive plays, possession, intercepts and good saves need to build a defensive bar and/or reduce their stranglehold.
The AI defender here is on maxed out aggressive settings - he should be trying as hard as possible to get the puck out of the zone and just does nothing and gets stripped. They always have issues in this area of the ice - I've mentioned this numerous times and am always told it'll be looked into but nothing ever happens. I'm not gonna call for the pass either; why should I? We all know he's just gonna fire it directly in the middle because he's stupid. We moved around to plenty of good spots and they have shown in the past they are more than willing to make low % passes anyway, it's unreal.
Useless goalie as usual too. I can shrug it off against a super scrub team because it's like, you can always just score another cheese goal, but this was against a team of similar rank and skill and every single shot/goal matters - This is why people believe tilt exists - The game was tight until this point and you forced our hand after this goal and it allowed them to secure the win.
UPDATE THE AI AND TEAM STRATEGIES ALREADY.
0:24-0:50 - wth is this? This sort of stuff happens way too often and shows how little hitting actually means/matters. A corpse on the ice shouldn't be able to affect the play that much and even this turkey AI should know to just take the extra 0.00001 seconds to skate to the side. They just can't see what's infront of them.
Useless goalie can't handle a simple backhand. We won this game but that doesn't make up for having to deal with this every time.
0:51-1:01 - AI is constantly just getting in the way out there - You need to create a system where we actively try to avoid eachother. They don't even try passing right away either -- we can all accept passes from behind our backs without looking and yet they still decide to just wait for you to already be at or past the line before attempting anything.
Half the time it feels like they deliberately just stand in your way and they definitely lose all their speed as if they are a part of full pressure.
1:02-1:15 - Finally, an actually great defensive play! Ok, ok, let's go, let's make a play, buddy... And then he takes *that* shot lol. We didn't tell him to, that was all him. Useless. They were up by 2, sure, but we've squeaked tons of last second ties and wins - all we needed was a spark and he chose not to deliver.
1:16-1:47 - Look at this asinine, idiotic, pointless penalty he just took to give them a guaranteed goal. He wasn't even on aggressive settings! If you're gonna continue letting them take penalties, you need to revamp how they work in 3v3 and/or change AI goalies because they are awful.
1:48-2:02 - ... GET RID OF THE FREAKING PUCK! You are a defender set to only do defensive stuff, NOT go coast to coast, dear lord.. Yes, I purposely got the offside to prove a point. Like, seriously, they need a major overhaul, it's embarrassing.
2:03- end - Absolute GOLDEN opportunity and he does that, just awful. Absolutely terrible. There were so many better options and paths to take there like dekes, crosses, fakes, etc... You just can't manually call for a pass either because you're either gonna one touch it away or they will just pass it backwards or directly down in that situation.
