IIHF license in NHL 24?

Would be a great thing if we could have the international logos in the creation zone.

@Froommey absolutely, customization should allow us to upload logos and badges in order to create our teams as accurate as possible. However, I doubt due to licensing matters. But I hope they bring in the IIHF with correct jerseys again.

EA probably would not allow us (again) to edit the IIHF rosters. So in the Worldcup most players will be with generic faces, unfortunately. Therefore, I would like being able to exchange the teams in the IIHF tournament by the  internatinal teams whose rosters I could adapt before.

It was such an awesome mode that I never even touched last year due to the roster lock. Another example of a bad implementation of a really cool offline feature.
I hope they unlock the rosters this year, the jrs take place while they are all on holidays and by the time they are updated the tournament has been over for weeks and there is no real likeness to any of the players anyways. We would be better off without using EA’s “realistic” rosters as we could better create the players and rosters ourselves and actually use them during the tournaments.

@darkryd3rWould be awesome, if we could upload own logos to team creation, this would be big step to forward. In 2K NBA games we could upload logos to the game via internet . Hopefully we get same possibility to NHL24. EA Sports added logo of Jokerit to the game in NHL 23, but only players , which playing online game modes were allowed to enjoy that. I not playing online game modes, I don't even care about them. I was very desepointed to EA Sports, when offline players couldn't use logo of Jokerit in team creation. Would be nice, if we got use all logos in team creation. 

Like you know,we have in use NHL logos , some historical logos, ECHL logos, generic logos and letter logos at team creation. Would be nice, if we got use AHL-, OHL-, WHL- and QMJHL logos in the team creation. In addition also logos of European leagues

@Juhani_91_91 I totally agree with you. Create our own leagues or tournament would be a much appreciated feature. Anyhow, I also like to have the real-life sponsors on ice and boards in the tournaments. Therefore, I would prefer if EA can unlock the tournaments' rosters in order to replace any teams as we like.

At least I hope EA still have the license for IIHF because I remember it is not so many years ago we had to play with this generic jerseys of the international teams (except Canada, sometimes Austria and earlier Germany). Another topic is I would also like to see more licensed real jerseys in other European leagues like SHL, Liiga, NLA. But maybe this would cost too much, I don't know. The Czech Extraliga, Austrian League and DEL have real-life jerseys and this I appreciate....well most time I play with NHL teams🤩 but IIHF is also important to me.
