The thing is, many of your complaints are subjective or lack any details.
For example:
1. Fundamental problems with the player system.
like what, exactly?
2. Goalies wearing incorrect team outfits.
First I've heard of this happening. If this is an offline thing, then yea - that's annoying and should be fixed.
3. Notable penalties discrepancies.
exactly what discrepancies?
4. Stamina anomalies after line changes
Elaborate. What are anomalies are you seeing?
5. Glitches in game settings (rookie, pro, etc.).
?? Provide some details.
6. Non-functional play-by-play feature.
non-functional? In what way?
7. Pressure System unwanted by the community.
It's disingenuous to claim the mechanic is unwanted by the community. I do not like the mechanic and I can point to countless posts in this forum that would align with that opinion, but in no way shape or form would I claim that the entire community doesn't want it. There are people who have genuinely enjoyed the changes the mechanic brought to the usual META we've seen year-over-year. We've already seen EA take 2 major steps in refining it; lowered the time it takes for pressure to dissolve when the puck is cleared and put more responsibility on a team to shoot and cause turnovers to engage the mechanic, rather than play keep-away. Both changes have made me more positive about the mechanic, but if given the option to turn it off - I would.
8. BAP (Being called Rookie) and overbearing Perk Renewal should be consolidated.
9. Editing BAP character issues (player's audio & goal horn & intro animation being greyed out).
I'm not a BAP player, so I won't comment.
10. X-factor not calculating correctly with ice animation, displaying incorrect information.
This sounds like a simple UI issue. A screenshot / video would go a long way.
11. Discrepancy compared to previous NHL series.
???
12. Neglect of offline gameplay in recent updates.
Many of the items included in all of the patches released this year have impacted offline gameplay.
13. Predominant focus on online features, leaving offline players wanting attention and improvements.
I feel for the offline players and I agree that those modes have been somewhat neglected. However, Online modes are easily the most popular. It only makes sense that they would prioritize fixes in that area. That said, offline modes have seen some major additions through the last few years and it seems every release cycle, those offline players tend to forget how far the modes have come. Not perfect. It never will be - people will always find something to complain about and the complexity of some of these features results in some bugs. It happens. But I do agree with you on that point.
@ReignArmy780 wrote:It is essential to underscore the financial investment players make when purchasing this game, and they rightfully expect a high-quality product in return. The current state of NHL24 falls short of meeting these expectations.
Customers can request a refund within 14-days of purchasing. If you buy the game and decide not to return it during those 14-days, then you've sent the signal to EA that you APPROVE of this release. There haven't been any subsequent updates that have broken anything that was included in release, just changes based on customer feedback, so there's no grounds to claim the game changed drastically since the version you agreed to keep.
If the community at large had real, major issues with how this game was being developed overall - then they wouldn't be telling EA that they approve by way of their wallets.
So TLDR: Everyone says game is bad and please fix. How? Idk make it not bad!
I and friends I know have played this game way more than we have in the previous iterations so please don’t just say the community as there are people who also like the game right now. Maybe there are some issues here and there but overall the gameplay is way better than 23. On top of this they have been consistently listening to this community and making changes to the gameplay to make it better for all modes based off of our feedback in those surveys and as the interview suggested in the beginning, was their primary focus for this game.

@hiperayI agree that there is fun to be had and no one should lump all the player base into one category. In turn it's hard to state that they are listening to the community and feedback for all modes, as they are basically stuff for gameplay and online only.
Glitches for franchise mode are present from prior games and this one since day 1. Even glitches that they said were fixed in the deep dive are still issues (AI GM has no idea how to control contracts as some teams will have 21-24 contracts out of 50 due to the salary cap, RFA's won't be signed but they will sign a UFA instead). Other notable glitches are line up's with forwards playing D-man cause they can't call up players to the letter and number color glitch that I flagged in the first week or 2 of this game's release that still is not fixed. Just to name a few. - BigCastle001 year agoSeasoned Scout
The fact of the matter is this game is not good. I pretty much play online and am speaking for the online part only, it’s bad. The physics of the game are brutal. From the way it bounces off the goalie, to general puck control, passing, shooting, play of the boards, it’s not good. Updates are done and it always seems like afterwards the game gets worse instead of better. I often hear of people complaining about Madden and how bad its online play is and in comparison NHL makes Madden look excellent.

It’s also annoying when you’re beating the crap out of someone, outshooting them by 20 plus shots and then lose over and over. When the other team has 5 shots and 4 goals on that.

Lol this update effectively broke the game. Goalies are terrible and let in everything now, AI teammates are even more worthless, and hitting is gone completely.
