Yup! Also have you received a 6 min interference call? I hit the goalie and get a 6 min penalty and have no idea why....this game is so bad this year...the controls feel like dog water.

Funny enough it just happened after I sent the last message and look...here is a picture...they called it 3 times for one hit I will post a picture.

Hello, @xXTailsx
We're aware of the issue with 6 minute penalties and are investigating.
Thanks for the feedback.
This currently is intended as you can't just hold up to put back a rebound or wait for a one timer in the slot. You need to hit up when the puck is in front of you.Edit: This is actually NOT intended and is currently being investigated.

Thats good but i dont “hold up” continuously. I tap up when the pucks loose or when im trying to “net front battle” and it pushed the defender instead of trying to shoot the puck. Which gives me a goaltender interference or an interference penalty. It might be i just need to play differently but seems annoying as I typically use a grinder to deflect pucks, get rebounds and play in front of the net.

I've been passing this feedback on to the team. You're definitely not the first to complain about it. One of the forwards on my club is having a hard time adjusting to this as well. Hopefully, we'll see this adjusted, but I don't have any news on it at this time.

So how is it supposed to work as intended?
You push the right stick forward to shoot when the puck is near you? What if the defender is near you as well, when does the game trigger the shoot animation versus the shove animation?
Wouldn't holding L2/LT and pressing up on RS for shooting be a better solution?
Hold L2/LT + RS = shot attempt only
RS by itself = hit/shove only
Then there's no mistake or confusion or tricky programming for the devs

Hey, @de4c0nfr05t
I updated my recent post about that. I was wrong and it is NOT intended. The team is looking in to it currently. When I have some news, I'll post an update.

Please @EA_Aljo I beg you not to cater to these people that are complaining about interference penalties for shooting rebounds. Why should the forwards get that option when the only option for defenseman are to wait for the puck to be picked up by their stick? If defenseman don't have the option to desperation shoot it out of the zone, why should the forwards get the option to shoot it in the zone? It is already difficult enough (not impossible as other people put it) but if you give the forwards this, it is just another thing that rewards brain dead spamming up to shoot on the sticks instead of having to do what the defense has to do which is to skate onto and pick up the puck and carry/shoot it out of the area to a teammate.

There is a desperation clear. Tap up twice on the right stick.
- hiperay3 years agoNew Ace@EA_Aljo The desperation controls only work if you are being bumped as it happens. By that same regard, you can also desperation shoot too as a forward so again I say this shouldn't be changed. The desperation controls are ONLY ACTIVE when you are in a bumped state. The exception to this being practice mode where it does what I think it should do in game and can be activated from anywhere on the ice.
