no offense but that’s even worse cuz it’s still happening at a very high rate. don’t get me wrong, i’m enjoying ur game overall, but penalties are called WAY too often in chel. i’ll be skating alongside a puck handler down the ice and move a bit towards him and throw my shoulder out to push him off the puck and get charging. and the interference penalties when trying to shoot happen very often still.
If you can get me videos of the penalties you feel shouldn't be getting called, I'll pass them on to the team for review.

it’s not only about calls i shouldn’t be getting, it’s also that your character will make mistakes way too often. like when i’m going to shoot, even when the puck in right is front of me, my guy will turn around and push someone for no reason, and when i’m running alongside someone and the puck is literally touching my stick and i press r1 and my guy sticks his stick in between a guys legs for no reason.

If you hold in L2/LT, you should avoid hitting when trying to shoot near the net.
For the other issue with putting the stick between a player's legs, it sounds like you're poking from a bad position. I really need to see a video of this to know what's happening though.

You should not have to hold LT/L2 to avoid a penalty. Another instance where EA puts a bandaid over the problem instead of actually fixing the core issue. Even holding LT/L2 does not work. This bug was not even fixed.

I just took 2 last night while “battling” in front for position. In NHL23(i know this is 24) i used to be able to hold the LT to face the point and engage with the defender in front for a “net front battle”, pushing the right stick into the defender to get position and twice last night it gave me an interference penalty so its not even just when trying to shoot a rebound its also when trying to battle in front. Also, pressing the right stick to shoot before you have the puck to me is how youd shoot quickly? One timers, redirections in real life, and one touch passes all happen without corralling the puck so the goalie doesn’t have 2 seconds to slide into position. So to have to wait till you get control of the puck before shooting is definitely not realistic if thats peoples arguments.
