This is just how this year's game was designed. Again, it's possible this could change in a future release. I wouldn't expect that to happen with NHL 24 though.

And I wouldn’t expect to buy 24 also.
It's a sad day thinking that I bought all the games since 91. But yeah, I’m not part of EA's target audience anymore.

This game is a disgrace to hockey I really hope no one is patting themselves on the back ...hip checks from a standing still position knocking players head over heels ,hip checks on breakaways from behind, and my favorite which happened last night being tackled from behind on a breakaway and of course not being able to flip the puck out of the defensive zone a simple hockey play while being under pressure and last but not least ozone ragging
Then you have maybe five different types of glitch shots that you see everyone from div 3 and up constantly trying to do over and over again ...game is different you can say that ,but just because something is different doesn't necessarily mean it's good
