This is just how this year's game was designed. Again, it's possible this could change in a future release. I wouldn't expect that to happen with NHL 24 though.
@EA_Aljo This year was game designed ? Man, you just rewrite NHL23 template and you left there a lot of bugs, which was last year...You just copy game and add new name and some new features, but still you are building it on old engine and old skeleton of the game...From view of developer its totally clear you doesnt produce new game, you use old template and rewrite him, and because of this, we have so much bugs. So please dont jinx ppl, this is new game because it isnt
