Good post, it really feels like a multiplayer focused game that can use NHL teams.
The recent patch has definitely improved gameplay but there's not enough diversity or in-season tracking in there to make the prospect of playing even half the games appealing.
I need to have things like the All Star Break, different scorebugs, point streak overlays, opposing team previews and the threat of the AI star players actually performing like star players...
There's a franchise mode but it's very perfunctory in terms of presentation.
