Level 11 set

Please tell me this is a mistake. How can you ask 65 gold cards for this set? Chances are you will get 82s or 83s. If anything the set should be 85 and above. It feels like zero forethought went into this game.

  • I got an 84.

Could have saved 25 gold players and got it from the sets.

Getting to the point that it's getting harder not to lose the rag on here. The game is soooo bad.

It would have been more fun setting the £65 I paid for this game on fire.

@Stubo_NHL24 Im not surprised, more shocked about you getting an 84 to be honest. That's the problem, I bet 90% of packs will have cards you get for 40 players.

    EA, what are you doing?

@HurricaneFza I was basically given the choice of an 82, 83 and an 84 player. Same as I'd get if I saved up 40 gold players. Only difference is I would have had a choice of 8 players if I had traded in 40 gold players not a choice of 3 for 65 gold players.

I personally think it's worse that that. It's not just gold players for a choice of 3. It's 65 players PLUS the gathering of 10 XP cards!

You had to do something to get these, they do have some value.

Make the set cost 10XP +20 gold players => OK

Make the set 85+ => OK

Make the set from 10 where you chose 2 => OK

Make the set Tradable => Meh but yea people could trade in for one they don't have if they all got something they already had...

This is completely wrong but guess what, if you want the reward at 40 collectibles... you will need to do it at some point.

For me it will be after I get Mario/Gretzky. But what a waste.

The XP path over the Seasonal/Monthly Collectable path sounded like a great idea but, much like other changes in 24, isn't executed properly.

XP Sets still require the collectable and seems to be the opposite of what XP has come to mean in video games. I always understood that XP was for experience progress, as in game play, and not part of the in game economy. Much like Moments are simply renamed Challenges of the past, XP is just the same old Collectable system of yore. It's tiresome and a slog.

The kicker is that the game as a pretty decent Milestone/Objective system that could be enhanced by a true XP path. The only problem with the M/O system has been that it ends and fails to reward you for continuing the play the game once they're completed. A XP path that would continue to reward us for playing is much more desirable than earning a collectable for simply opening the game daily.
