@EA_Aljo Yes the trolls existed when lobbies were around but we had a high enough casual population where they weren't in game with us majority of the time. Now 96% of that community no longer exists as they were people I knew well on Xbox 360/ PS3 during those days. Many thought these would come back as numerous members in the casual community didn't have the time for club between work, and family. Because it never returned they gave up on the series.
I try to play club or LG myself but the time isn't there so I go to drop-in where there isn't even a way to play indoors or select a jersey and it takes so much time to find a game that becomes mostly AI by the 3rd period.
Yeah we had lobby trolls and unwanted text chat but instead of excuses there are solutions. The current system has such a low population that these trolls end up in a lobby with us most of the time... Not everyone has or wants to play club...
I have so many friends who work jobs, have families and would come back to the series if they weren't forced to play club and could have pickup games with community lobbies returned.
The guys in my hometown there was 30+ of us who would game and still would but they don't have time for club or to wait in a drop-in lobby for minutes to hours...
EA NHL needs to read the room more within its community and listen not just to the E-sports players but the whole community and content creators.
The sales would be more profitable if more consumers were intrigued to buy the game but we need quality content and not just for HUT or this gimmicky arcade thing we apparently call a hockey game...
