Community ManagerStick lift would probably be good for this behind the net battles. I've had a lot of success with it there. Otherwise, I'd try to poke it away and hope one of my teammates could pick it up. I also may try pinning them and then having a teammate come in to battle for the puck.
Yeah, it's not often I do the toe-drag shot. Sometimes I'll use it when coming at the goalie from an angle so that I can sort of drag it around the goalie's poke. Otherwise, I just use the toe drag to get around defenders.
