Put the same controls we've had for 15 years back in the game.

Even when I do things properly and have hit assist maxed I still can't pull off consistent checking, they made way to many gameplay changes to the negative this year starting with removing hybrid control (that we now have to wait for), changing hitting mechanics (also harder to time hits even with the button press), the game is overall slower as well.
You’re doing it wrong. You have to do it differently or just tone down the hitting. Not every check is going to be a monster hit
Well to make hitting great again we need to get rid of the one button hip check that was the stupidest thing ever added in this game It was just dumb I don't know who thought of it but they should be fired
- @xsaw2121 I dont love all the one button nonsense they've added, but that isnt the biggest problem with hip check. Its that theyve made it so physics dont matter and barely grazing someone makes them act like they were hit by a bus.
I mean that's probably part of it but at the same time why would you ever map hitting especially the hip check to square or I don't remember what it is on Xbox but not stop the point point being is who thought that was a good idea it's like mapping geeks to one button you've pretty much eliminated the skill gap like I don't know who's coming up with these ideas but someone want to give them a walk upside the head maybe he'll come up with some better things in the future that way
