Right, so it's all good when defensive actions require precise timing and analog movement, but offensively there is no timing or precise movement required. This is why the game is Harlem Globetrotters on ice and doesn't resemble hockey at all. Automated contortionist no-look puck receptions, one button Michigans, skating into the boards full speed with the puck with no consequences, etc.
- MarvnZindler2 years agoNew AceI'm personally loving the hitting this year. The mechanic isn't hard to figure out, either. You pull the RS back when you want to move into the hit, then you push the RS forward when you're close to the guy to finish the hit.
I'm currently running a 6'2" 210 defensive defenseman, gold truc and silver shutdown, 90 checking. I'm racking up hits like crazy. I can routinely get 15 or so hits per game.
